Procedures for such organizations don't change quickly. In 2000, I was asked to develop and successfully deliver a stand-alone product that would enable auditors to perform roughly 70% of a facility audit from the comfort of their home, reducing travel expenses and increasing quality and performance. The project was delivered on schedule and received special recognition and acclaim at the organization's annual winter conference. Training Development: Total Quality Management After promoting the concept of TQM, administration provided me the opportunity to develop and instruct a pilot training class for new employees. The overwhelming success and response of the course led administration to incorporate the program into the mandatory training curriculum. After three years, the average post-test score for participants remained over 98%--the highest of all training components within the curriculum. Defining Performance In 1998, I created and managed the performance-based data analysis initiative in preparation for Hamilton County's participation in the national Performance Based Standards project. Today, I continue to oversee and advise the project while making myself available to the agency's national administrators for travel and presentation of successful implementation strategies. Technical Writing and Publications Responsible for final technical editing and production of 250+ page user manual for all Ohio counties participating in the Juvenile Detention System program.
