SWATCH SERIES: testing Wild About Beauty's paraben makeup

About Us page component.

Shopping for makeup can perk up a lunchtime desk-browsing or make a Saturday shopping spree a total joy, however it can also present many challenges and questions. What kind of texture do I want? Will this do what it promises? And most commonly, will this colour suit me? Getting the right foundation shade or a shadow to compliment your eye colour can sometimes be a bit of a minefield. So in order to help you become a savvier shopper when you're a guest at one of our Showcases or shopping online, we created the swatch series.
Over the last month we've be swatching colours from our favourite independent makeup brands, here at MyShowcase and blogging about each brand individually. This week, in the last of the series is Wild About Beauty - our go to brand for natural, skin-beneficial makeup. So, let's get to it.

With years of experience in front of and behind the camera, Louise Redknapp and makeup artist Kim Jacob seem like the perfect partnership for creating a makeup range. Made up of flattering natural shades and dreamy textures, Wild About Beauty's paraben free products are made for on-the-go women who want foolproof makeup, everyday. Swatched below are there sheer bases, muted blushers and suit-all lip and eye colours.

Sheer Glow Tinted Moisturiser SPF20 £22 and Golden Skin Glow £21
Wild About Beauty's Tinted Moisturiser comes in three shades and gives a light-coverage dewy complexion. The darkest and slightly scary shade below is the Golden Skin Glow - a gel like bronzer to wash over cheeks and temples. Don't worry, it blends out easily though (see far left).
